I see teams with a game in hand and 1 more point, and from that perspective it's a little less optimistic. I'm scared of missing playoffs by a single point. I realize that we're asking an insane amount from the Jets and you can't be disappointed in the amazing effort and ridiculous P% from the homestand, but either way, that 1 point gap still hurts. Even though we snagged that point with like a minute and a half to go.

That said, GO JETS/HABS/DEVILS GO!

When the Islanders went up 3-1 I was sure the game was over.


If somebody told us six games ago that we were going to get 11 of 12 points out of this homestand, I think every Jets fan would be thrilled with the news. Stay positive at least until it's actually over

Man 11 pts out of 12 at home. Pretty impressive and definitely did not think jets could pull it off. Heck 10 out 12 would have been pretty good. As bad as the jets were defensively in this game man did they play their heart out. A for effort! Can't be too down about this game even though they could have definitely stolen 1 more pt. Gotta cheer for mtl now.

Nice to get a point in that one! Great effort by the jets! The jets did look confused in our own end, let's just chalk that up to noel playing the d with guys theyve never played with before in the biggest game of the year. Jets pulled off a point in spite of their coaches, great work! If noel goes with the same pairings as today we will miss the playoffs for sure. Stick with what works for crying out loud! Not the time for your nonsense noel!

I was lucky enough to be at the game, and my god am I exhausted. Such and exciting game to watch. The crowd was electric for a good portion of the game.

I tried to get a Wellwood chant going a few times, he totally deserved it after that 2nd goal, but apart from some people in my section it never caught on. I can't believe he almost got a Hat Trick twice! Totally unlucky.

Tangredi certainly deserved the cheers he got for his great shot blocking effort.

Pavs certainly let in a few soft ones but man our D was all over the place this game.

Would have loved a win, but I am so glad we got 1pt, the Islanders are playing really, really well. Thankfully we are still in the race, and with a little help we still have a really good shot at making the playoffs.

I think it's very plausible. He was doing a bit of running around and it cost a goal when he didn't make sure he got the puck first. I could easily see Noel doing that. I don't see how that's not a likely scenario at considering what we've seen Noel do with other players.

Unless he was actually injured and that was the reason. Then my theory is kinda dumb.

From player interviews after the game it sounds like Bogo wasn't feeling well and had to leave the game. Besides in a playoff battle you don't bench your top defensive d-man. He was +1 with a goal and held Tavres off the score sheet which was his main responsibility. If Noel benched his d for a mistake Buff would never make it out of the first period.

Overall I thought the Isles were the better team, but the Jets still battled back and almost stole the win in the OT after a post and a miracle save by Visnovsky (sp).

Not the time to pack it in yet. Three games to go and if we go 3-0 we still have a shot.

I've come back down after the loss, took a walk, had a large glass of water, took a walk and played some Rita MacNeil it's all good now!
