My contract is up for renewal.... I haven't heard from the GM YWGinYYZ yet....

We need real fans like you here! There are other "fans" present on this site that I would love to shove off to the KHL, never to be heard from again.

I am going to straight up and say that this is an offensive comment. Understandable that you are upset with Jokinen. Compare him to Tangradi, whatever but to bring in race/nationality into it just makes it racist. Come on now.

He never brought up race.

He said the nationality think tongue and cheek.

It would make him a Xenophobe.

Tons of drama and mini-stories in this game. Bogo and Okposo. Jets on their heels getting dominated. Defensive gaffes. Tangradi's shot blocking. Welly's breakaway goal, Burmi's shorthanded break, Jets rallying, the 6-on-4 gamble, Visnovsky's save, close calls at both ends, and of course the shootout. Vastly entertaining. Damn I love having a team.

This post sums it up for me. Well stated.

Hot damn, that was a playoff atmosphere today. Sucks that I missed the entire 1st period writing up references for a paper due at 3; no it wasn't for a class of mine, yes you better believe I got paid for it, and yes I really need to learn how to use RefWorks so I don't waste an hour compiling references and putting it into MLA format. Ugh, I don't even wanna talk about it anymore!

Islanders play such a fast game, wow. The turnovers got pretty out of hand and sloppy, but man do they ever make you pay in transition.

Wheeler and Kane are our fastest dudes; it seemed they had a bunch of guys on their team who were able to keep up with them. Very fast team, aggressive forecheck in the offensive zone, good puck battlers and they average what, almost 30 shots per game? Not hard to see that their 9-game points streak is not a fluke...

Great heart and effort from the Jets today. Jus felt the legs weren't there. Still close to taking two points. Go Habs and let's shuffle off to Buffalo.

I can't believe people are being that negative about this game. The Isles are a very good team and we could easily have won that. I'm extremely happy with 11/12 points on this homestand, great job Jets, very proud of you guys! :handclap:

Did you guys notice that the clock ran down an extra 30 seconds on an icing? That was an amazingly awful oversight!

After the first goal was scored, the guy beside me asked if the goal was scored through Pavelecs A-hole. I said yeah, it was a 5-hole goal and he nodded. I heard him a few seconds later telling his wife, "well it looks like an A shape between the pads, why don't they call it an A-hole?" Hmm, I can think of a reason or two.

Hopefully Kulda and Antropov.

I'm still keeping the faith the Bogo will be alright and back for next game.

We are in big trouble if Bogo is out. We have no one else who can match up against the other team's top forwards. We can probably get past Buffalo but the Caps and Habs will be tough.
