They've done him a solid by calling him up...if he still prefers to play in Russia until Lundqvist retires then that's his decision and there would be nothing wrong with it. It surely wouldn't hurt the Rangers...

Shesterkin is older than Georgiev and has proven exactly nothing. There's no way you can realistically expect him to be a starter in the NHL based on his track record. He's a good goalie...no doubt about that...but being a starter in the NHL is a different animal.

Shesterkin has proven nothing? This is ridiculous. He's dominated every league and hasn't been given a shot in the NHL yet. He has done everything that's been asked of him and been a fine sport. He was good in his first two games and is clearly ready for NHL minutes.

Lmao. Are you seriously equating Skapski and Halverson with Shesty and Georgiev? Neither of those goalies were anywhere close to the two we have now.

Don't be ridiculous. They're clearly a different level of goaltender.

My point is how quickly a goalie can become a non-prospect. Do you really consider Huska, Wall, and Lindbom to be on the level of Georgiev and Shesterkin?

It would be absolutely asinine to send Shesterkin down if he's ready to go and/or let him go back to the KHL.

As far as Georgiev goes must be nice to come in hungover to work, not answer your emails, and be rude to your clients every other day you come to work and people forget because you're competent the other days.

I’m kinda losing my patience with Kakko.

that's like losing patience with a puppy. He's up against so much as an 18 year old introverted Finnish kid in this league in this city without his friends and family. This year is all about experience and struggles. The more he struggles, the more he'll learn when he gets time to catch his breath.
