How are we so far behind this team

Because we are a very inconsistent team with a third of the roster under 23 years old, and a disaster of a defensive system. I have no doubt when this roster is complete, we fly by a team like the Islanders in the standings. They’re a very well-coached team, but, I don’t see a roster teeming with high-end talent.

The isles sorta stopped skating at some points. I’ve seen that a lot this season from various teams. It’s a weird trend.

A few things:

Ryan Lindgren is great. So damn solid. He is the best defensive defenseman we have had since a young Staal.

Brady Skjei, and I will say this even on a bad night, gets way too much shit.

The people that have talked about not liking Fast in general (and I remember who they are) are stupid.

Kaapo is Finnish for what would be "Gabriel" in English. Kakko is a type of bread from a specific region, so I guess he'd be Gabriel Baker.
