Just another example to what I was saying yesterday about North American native players, in regards to Ty Smith ending up in Europe soon. Some of them either never go to Europe to play or stay in North America toiling in the AHL/ECHL until they're close to 30 years old.

I don't think Edmonton was going to risk trading from #20 to #29. They were going to take Xavier Bourgault but figured they could risk him being there at #22 for the extra pick. Bob/TSN had Bourgault ranked #20.
