They also could play Zohorna with Geno and move Heinen or McGinn to Boyle’s line…Zohorna doesnt have to be a one for one replacement for Simon on L4

You might feel that way but the coaching staff has rarely used Z like Simon.

He actually gets deployed more than Simon. He always plays more than him during the games he plays. He also gets PP time.

Simon gets garbage Icetime, I dont want Z to be used like him. Simon plays and is deployed like a warm body. A fourth of his games he has less than 8min as ice time. Sometimes as low as 5min. Zohorna has always been put on the 4th line in the past. He can play it just fine. Simon is just a Sullivan pet

If this game doesn’t get a whole lot more interesting soon, I’m going to start watching the Puppy Bowl instead lol…

Yes that is why I said they view Z as a top nine player so with Malkin returning Z is the obvious player out.

Just like when we are healthy Simon won’t be on the roster.

so far like what I see from Heinen, really carrying that line...ERod has no idea what he is suppose to do...
still early but McGinn and Geno need to to figure out what kind of game they are suppose to play, three shifts so far and they can't be fae enough from each other on every play ...need better support

That's just it -- we don't really know what we have with Zohorna yet.

Simon brings suckitude with occasional flashes of mediocrity, and that kind of consistency makes this head coach far more comfortable. No surprises.

NJ zero imagination with those uniforms. Looks like NJ State correctional uniforms.

He shouldn't be know either tho. Zohorna also gets more Dzone draws than offensive. The numbers are practically the same as simon. Zohorna also does it with a better CORSI. there is literally no argument that could be made for Simon other than Sullivan being Sullivan.

They must have made it a point to finish their checks/be physical against Jake. He’s getting bullied.

Kinda like the Marquette Pirates.

"Believe it or not, the first outdoor hockey game featuring a pro team occurred all the way back in 1954. At a prison in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. On February 2, 1954, Detroit faced off against a team from the prison, the Marquette Pirates -- aka Emery's Boys -- named after the prison's warden..."
