Regular season success doesn't always translate to playoff success. Once the playoffs start, anything can happen. Teams just have to get in.
You just want people to forget the Tampa chokejob, don't you?Yes, by a country mile.
Also no. Y'all remember when Boston were up 3-0 against Philly, then Philly came back to tie it 3-3. Game 7, Boston again led 3-0, only to fall apart and lose 4-3?

Jack's having health issues. As much as I find him to be an annoying asshole with how he commentates...listening to him last night was sad. He was really struggling and I wouldn't be surprised if he retires this summer.I really hope Jack Edwards is in shambles. He deserves it, he’s terrible for the sport
I think "never in the series" sweep is worse than a 7 game down-to-the-wire nailbiter.Furthest thing from a Tampa fan. Would be fine if it was still them. Biggest difference is Tampa was basically never in that series. Bruins had three chances to close it out and was a converted breakaway, a goalie mistake, and 60 seconds away from doing so.

That’s fair. I more or less had the same opinion of him well before this season. I think he’s always been terrible, with that said, I wish the best for him in terms of his healthJack's having health issues. It was a choke job brother.I hate when the word choke gets thrown around. Both teams worked hard all year to get into the playoffs. Panthers came on strong after a really bad start and they never quit. It's the playoffs and anything can happen. An upset when you consider how the Bruins dominated all season, absolutely. But choke job? No.
Lol clearly neither was BostonYes, lightning got swept but they werent the greatest team of all time.
That Leafs team sucked. Not even close.
Bruins are wack. Enough of this 65 win all time great garbage. This team would get smacked by about 8 teams in these playoffs. Congrats they now own the wins record. Unfortunately history will look at them as as asterisk. Embarrassed if I were a Bruins fan right now. That Leafs team won games in spite of their issues all season. It just so happened that things caught up them in that last period. The Bruins (the team that lost last night) are head and shoulders above that Leafs team. They put up 65 wins - all with an exclamation mark - only to three games in a row.
To compare the two is foolish.
I think the Rangers are the only team left in the East that could give Toronto trouble.
They have talent and depth at forward, an elite defenseman in Fox, an elite goaltender in Shesterkin, etc.
But I am concerned they won't be able to beat the Devils.
