After a discussion in another thread, I wanted to see where everyone else was on this.
its a bit too easy. There are a lot of variables into this! He isnt a Top pairing with Provorov together. But Provorov isnt also! So if Sanheim gets to play with Ellis or another rock solid defensive dman he can be a solid top pair defender in my eyes! After a discussion in another thread, I wanted to see where everyone else was on this.
But with that same logic of who he plays with, MacDonald was a top pairing D but I understand what you're saying. We've also haven't had a chance to see Provorov play with Ellis or a rock solid D.its a bit too easy. There are a lot of variables into this! He isnt a Top pairing with Provorov together. Amac wasnt a nhl dman. SorryBut with that same logic of who he plays with, MacDonald was a top pairing D but I understand what you're saying. We've also haven't had a chance to see Provorov play with Ellis or a rock solid D.
I honestly hope I'm wrong about him. I see him more as a 2nd pairing D. I wish they were able to figure out one pairing that can stick together. I don't remember the last time they had one.
Sanheim is currently 24th in 5v5 min/game for defenders across the NHL (and leads the Flyers). He is 10th in relxGF%.
Over the previous 3 seasons, he is 38th in 5v5 points/60 among defenders. He is 24th in relxGF%.
He leads the Flyers in almost every 5v5 stat every season he's been a regular. He sees above average usage against opposing top lines and below average usage with his own team's top line. Virtually every defender on the team over the last 4 years sees a statistical boost with him.
What it all boils down to me is: he has no vision and is a p***y defending the net LMAO.

The list of defenders across the league to post these stats and receive no PP time is Sanheim and Muzzin -- one is 25, the other 32 years of age.

Now do Ghost. <3
You can only genuflect with one knee. If I genuflected on two knees, that's just kneeling.
Sanheim on the top pair and Ghost on the 2nd - where both of them have NHL partners capable of playing in the top 4 - would have been a beautiful sight. Now do Ghost. <3
especially with their salaries. You could have easily build a top notch top 4. LEAGUEWIDE!Sanheim on the top pair and Ghost on the 2nd - where both of them have NHL partners capable of playing in the top 4 - would have been a beautiful sight.
Yup, like I said plenty of times...especially with their salaries. You could have easily build a top notch top 4. LEAGUEWIDE!
