Let's be honest... if the call happens the other way tonight, it might have been a different result in the review.
Just being honest (and I despise the Oilers).
"I am NOT biased as I am NOT a fan of ANY Canadian team! I mean, except for the the fact that the teams I cheer for all just happen to be Canadian!" Its more likely that the refs aren't biased and that the penalties are being decided by humans who sometimes get the calls correct, and sometimes get the calls incorrect, and whichever team is receiving the penalty will disagree either way. Now, hear me out: I am NOT an Oilers fan and I am not talking about this game specifically.
It seems that more often than not, the Canadian teams get the shaft in the playoffs. I don't know what it is, but it seems in every key moment the Canadian team is the one who gets the critical penalty. Or has a controversial review go against them.
Is there a way we can track this? I am far from a fan of any Canadian team except the one I cheer for. But come on, at some point there has to be some sort of agenda set by the league right? Everyone can see it.
You think the puck didn’t touch the stick? No they just whine the most, especially from Edmonton and Toronto, going on 3 decades + without winning will do that to you though I guess.
Americans don’t even know who Mcdavid is. They just hear LA is in and show up.

It doesn’t matter if the rest of the states cares the Los Angeles’s market in the second largest in the league. It’s a huge market albeit there is two teams. In rebuttal of your laughable take:
Other Americans don't generally like Californians, and most Californians don't generally like Los Angeles. America isn't uniting behind us or something.
In Los Angeles itself, the Lakers, Rams, Dodgers, and LAFC have all recently won championships. The Kings have been a lottery team until the last two years. Most Angelenos don't give a crap about the Kings, let alone anyone from outside our city.
America doesn’t and never will care about hockey. In rebuttal of your laughable take:

There is an angle that shows it did not and there is another angle that shows it might have. It's the same situation with the Flames goal on Khabibulin in the Cup Final back in 2004, one angle shows it crossed the line and the overhead angle shows it did not. Different angles can cause faulty visual perceptions due to aspects like refraction and dispersion of light waves. You think the puck didn’t touch the stick?
So you're saying is because America doesn't care, Canadian teams deserve a positive handicap? Bruv, you lot have sunk to a new low.America doesn’t and never will care about hockey.
Just stating a fact. No matter how much old Gary tries to appeal to Americans it will never work.So you're saying is because America doesn't care, Canadian teams deserve a positive handicap? Bruv, you lot have sunk to a new low.
Wrong.Pretty sure the average fan is more likely to tune into the McDavid show than to watch because LA is in.
Lol, you are actually stating that. Ah mate, you lots tears are delicious, Gordon Ramsey level good. FTR, you are totally wrong about Merica not caring, viewership is up double digits compared to last year.Just stating a fact. No matter how much old Gary tries to appeal to Americans it will never work.
Tears from what exactly? That America will never embrace hockey? Somehow my heart will go on. NFL gets more coverage down south and it’s been out of season for months.Lol, you are actually stating that. Ah mate, you lots tears are delicious, Gordon Ramsey level good.
I’m shocked that America doesn’t care about hockey.I'm an American hockey fan telling you that is some BS.
I'm a Pens fan that lives 35 mins outside DC. People here care more about MLS soccer than they do the LA Kings
Gary got 10 extra viewers since last season? Noiceeeee!viewership is up double digits compared to last year.
