it’s certainly a conversation now, considering his play compared to the other three, that didn’t exist in their draft year.

Saw the third period of the Habs-Sabres today. I am high on the Sabres and after a bad start they appear to be turning things around. Dahlin scored in the third to put them ahead, if I remember correctly, but then took a completely selfish, completely unnecessary, completely ill-timed elbowing penalty which resulted in Montreal going ahead. Then with the extra attacker out he tried to corral the puck at the blue line and instead missed it completely-by a foot......I couldn't believe what I was seeing.....it was a weak backhanded swipe that had him turn away from the puck and the 2 Canadiens went right past him, one with the puck and one without to salt the game away. Dahlin tried to chase them but fell down.
For those who watch Dahlin play regularly, what the hell was that and what kind of captain with at least a quarter of a brain takes a penalty like that?
Please....discuss.
Is saying "please discuss..." just another way of saying please agree with me lol?

Looks to me like Dahlin takes about twice as many minor penalties as Quinn Hughes
Perhaps, if he were on a successful team, he would be considered a bit of a pest
The Sabres and Dahlin are made for each other. Neither care about actually winning games.
You saying your a Finn and starting a thread bashing Dahlin is just as suspect.English is not my first language, there are difficulties speaking English, you get the point, we Finn who live in Sweden often speak little Finnish and a lot Swedish and little English for USA or England estimate Finn.
The NHL meant for Finns, other Finns liked England.

8 posts for a Canuck fan to mention Hughes in a defenseman thread that had nothing to do with him nor his team. A new record!!!!Chill. I too can't believe how lucky we are to have Hughes but we don't need to be smug and insert it unnecessarily into unrelated threads.
Dahlin' been completely unsupported by veterans or useful systems, so it's possible he's adopted some terrible habits.
But he's still a superlatively skilled player. Either in Buffalo, or if they stupidly trade him elsewhere, he will be a key part of some long playoff runs eventually.
You might need thicker skin. Get used to it— comes with the territory of being on this forum.8 posts for a Canuck fan to mention Hughes in a defenseman thread that had nothing to do with him nor his team. A new record!!!!
its amazing and sad how easily that sums everything up.Its Buffalo
Dahlin played some unreal hockey 2 years ago and last year ( And where did that get them ) I think he should get the benefit of the doubt a little bit for a rough start all while recovering from an injury, although I'm not a buffalo fan so I can't really comment.its amazing and sad how easily that sums everything up.

I still think Ty Smith is going to be the best of the bunch.
