No not yet, has shown ability to play at that level but needs to keep developing and get more consistent.

Since this thread was created, he had the worst six months of his career.

So no, he's not top 5, he might not even be top 10 right now.

JT Miller was very clearly the better player this past season.

Yes he is. Don’t judge a player on the lowest stretch of his career, especially when he was playing injured.

Besides, the guy is 25 years old, he hasn’t even reached his prime yet. And, the guy still put up 89 points despite playing like ass for the past 6 months while injured, so ya, I’d say I wouldn’t count this guy out.

Here's the thing, I think he played incredibly poor over the last half of the season and embarrassed himself in the playoffs, even with his admitted injury. But I think this guy is going to rebound in a major way and end up top five in scoring next year. Bookmark it.

He's going to have to go on a tear to make up for his start though.

Didn’t bookmark it, but he’ll need to go on a real heater, to get top 5 in scoring race.

He’s currently 113th among centres, in scoring race, let alone the league.

At this point, I'm just hoping he's PPG. I was right about him rebounding in 22-23 but this year was hopeful optimism that has quickly soured. I (along with the rest of the fanbase and league) have no idea what the hell is wrong with the guy.
