The battle for those East WC spots is gonna be a free-for-all but nice to see the Sens turning it around. Would be nice to see them have a strong 2nd half and get in.
Do you have anything other than ad hominem junk to contribute?
I hope so, but I have a feeling the Bruins will pull away with the WC1 spot, and Philly and Ottawa will battle it out for WC2.The battle for those East WC spots is gonna be a free-for-all but nice to see the Sens turning it around. Would be nice to see them have a strong 2nd half and get in.
Would be cool to see some fresh matchups for sure.We are in a playoff spot and I hope and everyone in Ottawa hopes we meet Toronto because they fold.
Philly always starts out very well before collapsing later in the season, the opposite of the Sens.I hope so, but I have a feeling the Bruins will pull away with the WC1 spot, and Philly and Ottawa will battle it out for WC2.

Who knows how long it will last, but they were in the running all the way until game 82 last year (infamous Torts empty net game) so I’m not going to overlook them.Philly always starts out very well before collapsing later in the season, the opposite of the Sens.

Why? Leafs record against the Sens is not worrying in the playoffs.
Pretty much Leaf die-hard perpetual comeback. TWENTY YEARS AGO, during the clutch and grab era, Leafs beat Sens several times in the playoffs.
Since that happened the Sens went to a Cup final, Double OT of a conference final and a lengthy painful rebuild.
The Leafs meanwhile during the same period won ONE playoff series.
ONE.
I must say as long as Ullmark plays even close to this level, they are pretty damn good. Like "I would trust them to make the playoffs" good.

Can yall just cool your jets. Ottawa has a terrible road record and on a massive road trip. They are under. 500 on the road and suck against west coast teams. Just ignore them, seriously.
The current Leafs record vs anyone in the first round is worrying in the playoffs.
Not the same team these days under Berube and Treliving. Went from high flying skill to grind it out toughness. We'll see.
Check their playoff stats.
They are not solid mentally.
The core forwards haven't proven that consistently, but the defense and goalies have. And the coach has.
It doesn’t surprise me that they’ve put a good stretch of games together.
They’ve done it before.
