Mrazek is 12-6. Its team recors.6-3-1 is his record in 11 games is very could considering our goalie situation.

I am very surprised to see how often i used to drop by and see freddy get bashed to see so many fans ok with bring back a guy with a sub .900 sv% and after his first 3 games an .870 or less in 6 of his next 8 with only 1 game above .885 in that stretch. Dudes literally been one of the worst goalies in the league and played like mrazek or worse outside his first 3 games. What am i missing.
Like im just legitimately confused.

I think people forget how bad Mrazek is on a night to night basis after he's been off with an injury for a few weeks.
That said, Andersen was trash in his last year too, that's why he lost his job and wasn't re-signed. I also notice the doors got beat off him last night vs Colorado, so maybe the Carolina Hurricanes are going to be in for a rude awakening when the playoffs start.
I hope they release him in the off seasons so uselessBroken

Maple Leafs' Ian Scott: Unavailable for AHL Toronto
Rotowire MAR 31, 2022
Scott (undisclosed) is not playing with AHL Toronto currently, Kevin McGran of The Toronto Star reports.
Scott missed the first three months of the season with an injury as well, and it appears he has suffered another one. The Maple Leafs' organizational goaltending depth is being tested with Jack Campbell (ribs) and Petr Mrazek (groin) unavailable at the NHL level.
He had a great start in junior soon as he hit pro his body seems to have fallen apart.Scott is definitely done with the organization after this year. Complete waste of a roster spot which is a shame cause the kid had a lot of potential.
I hope they release him in the off seasons so useless
.931 last night. It’s not even certain that Jack Campbell is going to be back next season, even still, I don’t feel that he’s good enough to be a starting goaltender that can play 60 games and offer a complete reliability. For the past four months his save percentage has been sub .900% Just like Petr Mrazek and Kallgren.
It’s not even next season that concerns me, it’s this postseason that really has me worried due to their questionable goaltending.
Yes. He's cheaper than Mrazek. Full stop.
That said, a 1A, 1B situation would be ideal for the Leafs.
That's not the reason to make him the backup
I know he's 6-3-1 but that's because he plays behind the #2 offense in the game
he's got a GAA over 3 and a save% of 895
that's not backup numbers that's AHL at best
What do think the chances are that he's even available? Do the Blues sign him and trade Binnington? The dude is legit but at what cost?I might slot a Husso UFA add as a higher impact move than re-signing Campbell.
