Blindside, point of contact was the head. Text book definition of what they are trying to eliminate. Suspension will be well earned.
yeah, that was some trade. Don't forget the huge salary deal too.A 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for Tanner Jeanot?

Should kick tires on Mathieu Olivier.
Yeah it's exactly what they are trying to eliminate. I hope waive him, he doesn't even really fight or do anything anymore. Knies is more crushing and more effective. I am sure we can find someone who can hit out there if they want it.
Just watched it like 5 more times. Textbook Stevensesque blindside direct to the head. There isn't even wiggle room for benefit of the doubt on that puppy.
82 would be betterI could see this being up to something high like 10+ games.
Telephone hearing so max of 5 games. If Darnell doesn't bob his head right before impact its a different hit but Reavo coming in so fast he was getting tattoed no matter what. Gone for 5.This will probably be 6 games.
Maybe they can grow him in a lab because they're rare and not on any trade market I'm aware of.Reeves was done before he signed with Toronto, they need a guy who can play hockey AND fight when needed, not a guy who can’t play hockey and refuses to fight at all……….
It's an illegal check to the head.

Point of contact was the head because Nurse bent over.
What's weird, and I agree with Biz on this, it just felt weird that Nurse kept skating towards the boards a tiny bit more than would be usual. I fully expected his route to start to square up to go up the ice, but he kind of kept skating east a split second longer than was natural.Nurse was going to get blown up anyway, but I think the instinctive stop up at the last split second ended up doing more damage because it was the difference between getting blown up via shoulder, or leaning in with his head.

That ended up being the difference between being smashed head on. And being smashed at a 45 degree angle.
