Well in 200 years I'll be the first guy to tell you that you are right if that happens okay.1. Yeah 30% of NHL players of this generation will be Canadian
2. In 200 years Canada will probably not have existed for a long time. Countries are born and die. Canada did not exist 200 years ago. Open a history book to any period or region.
Is sports logic different than regular logic? As if I gave a damn between USA and Canada. As a Frenchman, I am neutral. I am for sports logic.
Objectively, USA will be better than Canada in the future. That's all.

The collapse in the percentage of Canadian players in the NHL, I'm not making it up.Is sports logic different than regular logic?
If I lose 10lbs in 10 days and i start at 250 lbs in 2500 days i will become nothing right?
That's the "logic" you are bringing here.
France was already performing well in these sports before the Africanization of its youth.Ah France, only reason the country is good at soccer and basketball because of immigrants like mbabee and wemby. Without them, France's ever smaller native population would be an embarrasement on the world stage.
Pounded our faces in?Did they win all the games against the Us? I believe we beat Canada 3-1 and pounded their faces in. You beat us in ot. So 1 win and 1 ot win. Us outscored them. So no they didn't dominate or win all games.
Looking back through history, I think 1996 was when the US replaced Russia as having the biggest international rivalry with Canada.Do you think it's fair to say that between 1950-2010, Canada-Russia was the biggest hockey rivalry but since 2010, it's now USA-Canada?
I think the 2010 Olympics where Canada beat Russia badly (never thought I'd see Russia get beat like that), and then the US played them in another gold medal match (the third since '96) and had beaten the Canadians in the group stages officially swung it in favour of US-Canada.
Personally I don’t give US much thought. Russia is always the measuring stick for me. They have the pedigree and earned their stripes.
To me, the US is to Canada what Ottawa is to Toronto. Annoying little brother that nips at your heels, desperate to be relevant, wins against you in regular time (and goes on ad nauseum about it) but virtually never delivers against you when it matters. At some point in time you have to win when it matters against your opponent to be given any credence.I don’t believe Russia is better than the states now. Hasn’t been for quite some time really.
