Abby goes gown 3-0 against Tucson and can't come all the way back--losing 3-2. Both Karlsson and Raty back in the lineup. Raty finishes with a goal and assist. Blais had the other.

No sign of Lekkerimaki. Makes me wonder if he's still with the parent Canucks. No sign of any injury in the last game he played against the Eagles, but also missed the last game in San Diego.

Makes me think something might be brewing on the trade front. The temptation will be to plug Lekkerimaki into the NHL lineup for the rest of the season, particularly if Boeser is headed out of town via a trade.

I think you are probably right. Raty was up for apparently no reason at all and then JT trade dropped.

Or Lekkerimaki is the trade bait and they don't want to risk injury.

Lekkerimaki back in the lineup this afternoon, so I suppose the absence was injury-related after all. Canucks use an abundance of caution when it comes to younger player. But seems to me, Lekkerimaki has been 'nicked' a lot in his first pro season in NA.

Canucks and Roadrunners currently knotted at 1-1 after period one. Sasson ties it with .16 left in the first.

Man oh Man the Canucks goaltending depth is looking dismal at the moment. Neither Tolopilo nor Silovs have been very good in Abbotsford this season.

And with Demko's future uncertain, past Lankinen it's like 'Death Valley'. Biggest concern with the Abbotsford goaltenders is the awful rebounds they give up.

Toughest thing for a d-man to cover is a bad rebound. The attacking team has all the play in front of them, and can simply get to those juicy rebounds a lot quicker.
