I didn't. I'm not upset at all. Four of my nhl team players, coaches, and staff got the win. I prefer my country with freedom and lower taxes to Canada any day. Enjoy your win and let Me know when Canada is ready to send their football team to play the best Americans in our sport since Truedeau said hockey is Canada's sport. Canada isn't the dominate hockey talent they used to be and rest of world is developing elite talent now. The best us athletes don't even dream of.the nhl sadly. I coach and play hockey still. I coach against several.former lightning players such as VL4 and skate against a few in over 35 upper leagues.

Did they win all the games against the Us? I believe we beat Canada 3-1 and pounded their faces in. You beat us in ot. So 1 win and 1 ot win. Us outscored them. So no they didn't dominate or win all games.

They are the two currently strongest countries so yes it is very safe to say they are the best rivalry. If it was two other countries that were clearly tier 1 it would probably be them.

Russia has barely done shit in 30 years. Struggle to develop quality top 6 Cs and top pairing true #1 defenseman. The Russian W and G groups however you could put up against anybody in my opinion. Especially in net, whatever they put in their borscht is producing some seriously great goalies. All of Sweden, Finland, and the Czechs are all capable of beating anyone on any given night in best on best. I don't even think Canada or the States would be considered heavy favourites against them everyone healthy. Slovakia, Germany, and the Swiss punchers chance kind of teams. Routinely now can get a player or two from one of these countries in the top 15 of the NHL draft.

As a Canadian hockey fan I got to say I absolutely f***ing love to see it, hockey is a great sport with tons of incredible athletes. We'll never have what soccer has internationally but the quality of the competition at the next Olympics should be high. I do hope by then whatever nonsense can be sorted out in Europe and the Russians can participate. As much as it sucks to have not seen McDavid or Makar or MacKinnon at the Olympics, Nikita Kucherov hasn't put on his nation's sweater since the WJs either.

I can't wait for a canadian football team to be the best american footballers! Crazy how much the skill gap has closed between Canada's main sport and America's fourth. I am sure future world leader and comrade Trudeau will tell everyone how proud he is of these Canadians for booing the Americans, losing the fights , and barely beating usa in at OT thriller in Canada's main sport compared to the United State's 4th/5th most watched sport. USA won the fights , won the goal differential, and had a ot Loss in the final in a sport that is not their top 3 sport versus the country where hockey is the only sport that matters to them.

I was talking about the fact that Russia was never as strong as it is now and was becoming better than Sweden - not that Russia was on the same level as Canada & USA.

And in the context of an international tournament with the best players, Russia can play for the gold medal with this squad.

And it is possible that this happens for reasons of very high taxes in Canada, very high rents and the attractiveness of the American border (the Canadian population is concentrated less than 100km from the border and regularly crosses the border).

In fact, USA and Canada have always been 2 countries in 1. Removing the border would greatly benefit Canadians.
