He seems like just a sweet little cherub boy who happens to be unreal at hockey. Not much to hate. I think if you actually hate him you’re probably just doing the thing where you hate guys that aren’t on your team because they’re not on your team.
Does he go oit of his way to prove he doesn't have a home town bias?

To be fair, there was a lot less to be pessimistic about these last few years.
But the years before that have done permanent damage to my psyche, so I ALWAYS expect the Canes to f*** it up.

McDavid or Bedard?
Since there is a Matthews or Bedard poll I guess we should have the same question only this time asking who you would take between McDavid or Bedard. Let's keep in mind McDavid has a $12.5 million AAV contract and is a UFA after the 2025-26 Season, whereas whatever team drafts Bedard gets him...
lol dude I'm not taking this seriously at all, I never even think about Bedard when we're not playing the Hawks and I've been hyperbolically posting in response to your post about me jinxing the team.
Completely seriously, I'm skeptical of his future in this league as a "generational" player, same with Jack Hughes, both for similar reasons. They are small and soft finesse players. Bedard is extremely talented but also flawed and it's completely ridiculous to prop him up with guys like McDavid, Matthews, Kucherov, etc. so early in his career. Honestly it does a disservice to him. And it's not just HF posters, many hockey fans in my office (mostly bruins but other teams as well incl. Pens, Devils, Oilers, etc.) and all of them hype this kid up like he's the next McDavid. hint hint, he's not. not even close. he has a great shot but that's the only thing impressive to me when comparing him to the top players currently.

You had one of my favorite Debbie Downer predictions, they could”easily” lose like 6 games in a row and be down to like 3rd place or something one of the last two seasons. And they went 5-1 in those games.
