I’m not really for or against Yzerman as pres, but is being the President a position where he really needs to be physically around most of the time?
If Yzerman's heart is truly in Detroit, this is not worth it at all.I’m not really for or against Yzerman as pres, but is being the President a position where he really needs to be physically around most of the time?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Probably not a front-runner with JD and Yzerman, but he could be an interesting option.
Yeah he was in hockey long before he got involved in football. At first, I was going to ask "Why would a football couch possibly be qualified to a president of a hockey organization".
And then I learned he was the Swiss national ice hockey coach? What an interesting man, I'm so confused.

Gorton is here to stay.Yzerman for GM. Send Gorton to the moon in an Israelian spacecraft.

I would be fascinated to hear your reasoning for this.Yzerman for GM. Send Gorton to the moon in an Israelian spacecraft.
I too love Chinese fire drills.Dolan really needs to get more involved with running this team, his leadership skills and deep sports knowledge is really needed....
Yeah he was in hockey long before he got involved in football.
He also coached with the Oilers for a few years but was only at the helm for one season before he was fired. He basically took the fall for inept management.
Yeah, he's done a terrible job rebuilding this team. You have really opened my eyes.Yzerman for GM. Send Gorton to the moon in an Israelian spacecraft.

Poster of the Year! In April. #blessed
I'm still trying to figure out what "Israelian" means.
A GM who thinks the best way to develop Brady Skjei is to buy out Girardi and let Skjei play with Smith or Shattenkirk, should never bee near a hockey team. Or any team in sports for that matter.I would be fascinated to hear your reasoning for this.
Girardi is worse then both of those guysA GM who thinks the best way to develop Brady Skjei is to buy out Girardi and let Skjei play with Smith or Shattenkirk, should never bee near a hockey team. Or any team in sports for that matter.
Israel sent a ship to the moon and its rockets malfunction and it crashed a few days ago, I think that’s what he’s referencingI'm still trying to figure out what "Israelian" means.
Save the attitude man. What has Gorton done? Traded the vets? Not exactly rocket science. Won the lottery. Gorton and his mismanagement of the team is the reason for the rebuild. The guy who caused the mess should never been asked to fix it. Never.Yeah, he's done a terrible job rebuilding this team. You have really opened my eyes.

But hes doing a damn good job fixing itSave the attitude man. What has Gorton done? Traded the vets? Not exactly rocket science. Won the lottery. Gorton and his mismanagement of the team is the reason for the rebuild. The guy who caused the mess should never been asked to fix it. Never.
But he could teach Skjei a thing or two. The other two not so much. Its funny, a couple of weeks ago Niklas Lidstrøm was the expert on a Rangers game on Viasat. He spoke highly of Marc Staal and showed how crafty he was in his defending. Sadly many posters here on HF will never see or understand it.Girardi is worse then both of those guys
And yet they get scored on much more often when he’s on the iceBut he could teach Skjei a thing or two. The other two not so much.
