In past 6 seasons....

4 (likely to be 5)times in finals = good luck?
4 losses in finals = bad luck?

Quite an interesting story. Only player I can recall coming close to this is Marian Hossa.

On the winning side Claude Lemuiex won two straight with two different teams.

Would welcome him back with open arms on this team tomorrow

Didn't he win a cup though? So there is that.

Kind of defeats the purpose of the thread.

If you want to ignore the fact that he's been a productive and contributing member of these Stanley Cup finalists, and look at purely luck and suggest that Perry = guaranteed SCF loss, then...

20+ teams, especially those like Carolina, Toronto, and Winnipeg would happily take that deal. Florida obviously wouldnt. Teams like Edmonton, Dallas, Colorado, and Vegas probably would take their chances at winning a cup rather than a "guaranteed" finals loss

My best guess is that the poster who started this thread was doing it a bit tongue-in-cheek. :P

How can he be bad luck if he won a cup? Nowhere in your post do you address this.

I suspect someone didn't bother to look if he won a cup.
With a concept as empirically-defined as “good luck”, I imagine there isnt much stabity over time. OP said “in the last 6 years”. Whistles stay tucked.
