Ahhhhh......the drawbacks of using just words to communicate without the aid of tone of voice, facial cues that are oh so vital to human commination and understanding. Pity. Such a pity.harping on a player for being in top 2 too many times without being in top 1 is such ridiculous logic. What about the 30 teams who aren't even top 2?
These narratives are always so eyerolly. Guy is 40. He can't do everything. He does his part.
I was going to mention that.
Scratch him in the SCF. Jinx over.
People forget those last 2 things in your post are very important for a team. Lots of hockey fans think the game is played on a chart or a spread sheet but they forget the things that don't show up in the statistics are sometimes just as important.Perry is the epitome of the player you hate when he is on the opposition and love when he is on your side. He's been a great addition to the Oilers. Whether he brings luck or not is disputable but what is not disputable is that he brings heart and a valuable veteran presence.
He was good luck.. until now.In past 6 seasons....
4 (likely to be 5)times in finals = good luck?
4 losses in finals = bad luck?
Quite an interesting story. Only player I can recall coming close to this is Marian Hossa.
On the winning side Claude Lemuiex won two straight with two different teams.

Just making a joke about he always makes finals.
You already have Oilers losing?
Or you going by history?![]()
I see Edmonton winning if Skinner can avoid shitting the bed.Just making a joke about he always makes finals.
I have Oilers in 7 with home ice being the difference this time. I think Florida is the better team but we do have two magical unicorns that can maybe make the difference.
My French teacher in high school taught us how to curse. 50 years later I still remember!Gotta cheer for him I guess lol
Mon Dieu!
Living in Ottawa suburb and a Habs fan?
Taber....do the mods know French curse words?![]()
Pay attention out there in left field.Speaking of luck, too bad Taylor "Mr Draft Lottery" Hall is pining away in Carolina with a uncertain future to participate with his lottery magic.![]()
No hyman hurts .. a lot. I'd say he's a top 5 player for us.. McDrai, bouch, RNH, Ekholm and Hyman.I see Edmonton winning if Skinner can avoid shitting the bed.
They came back last year from 3-0 to force a game 7, McDavid and Draisaitl are hungrier than ever....Kane is Kane lol....

The OP was a tongue-in-ckeek reference to past six seasons and marveling at the accomplishmentHe's won a cup though.
