Boeser's camp apparently rejected a 8mil x 5 yrs offer from the Canucks.
Now he has 0 goals in his last 12 games while the Canucks are fighting for their playoff lives.
3 pts in 12 games.
Allvin almost too candidly announced at the post trade deadline presser that the league doesnt think very highly of Brock for a number of reasons and were only willing to offer a 2nd round pick for him at the TDL.
Friedman confirmed that a 2nd round pick was the best offer from anyone due to the following reasons:
1. concern about the blood clot he previously had
2. concern that Boeser was just riding on JT Millers coat tails. (Boeser play since Miller left kinda proves that as well)
3. concern about Boeser's foot speed.
If you remember a year ago, Allvin gave permission for Brock and his agent to look for a trade. Nothing materialized.
Now Brock is playing without a contract next year. He will be playing the rest of the season and possibly playoffs without guaranteed contract moving forward.
Very risky for someone that has dealt with blood clot and other major injuries.
Quite the gamble rejecting 40+ million. Hopefully not another case of John Klingberg.
