Holloway too but Broberg is more intriguing.
Oilers are currently around 2.4 mil over the cap with Broberg and Holloway still needing a contract.
A team can offer-sheet Broberg a contract at 4.5 mil and the Oilers would be put in bad situation. If they let Broberg go at the price point then the Oilers would only get a 2nd round pick back.
Broberg handled himself well during the playoffs and is only 23 yrs old Left Shot Dman with size and skating. It wouldnt be much of a gamble for rebuilding teams like Calgary, Anaheim etc to make that offer and it wouldnt be out of spite as they can legitimately use a prospect and player like Broberg.
