He's still fairly young at 29 and still have many years left in his prime. Will likely finish around 1400pts in his career and at least a few more Selkes.
leaf fan every springYes. The league loves their reputation players.
He was fined over 100 000€ because of a crime Some years ago..I don't see how he is kept out besides him turning to a life of crime or something.
Multiple Selkes, probably multiple cups as 1C, should finish with 1100 points at minimum.
He similar to your Bergeron/Kopitar/Toews and probably already better than Toews
I don’t buy itHe is probably my 2nd favorite cats player behind officer Bob.
Not sure on many years left but we will see, at some point the mssed time with injuries does catch up.He's still fairly young at 29 and still have many years left in his prime.
Um no he isn't finishing around 1400 points a he doesn't even have 800 yet. Will likely finish around 1400pts in his career and at least a few more Selkes.
Currently he has one Selke and one Cup.
That's it.
I think people are getting ahead of themselves. If he wins a second cup, a second Selke, adds a Conn Smythe or some other individual award, then it will be hard to deny him, but that's a lot of ifs.
EDIT: Sorry, forgot he won the Lady Byng. Obviously that puts him over the top into first ballot status.

He already has two Selkes (2021 & 2024).
My bad. Forgot the 2021 Selke. Covid years are kind of a blur.He already has two Selkes (2021 & 2024).
You are asking about right now though, what does finishing with 1,400 pts have to do with this or a few more Selkes. He’ll be 30 years old before the start of next season and doesn’t have 800 pts yet, 1,400 seems a bit of a stretch but certainly doable. I’m not sure if there are many sub 800 pt, sub ppg players there are in the HHOFHe's still fairly young at 29 and still have many years left in his prime. I agree Barkov is getting in but he’s not a lock at this point in his career. Guy has more cups and Selkes and is a weak HOF entrant. If Carbonneau is in then yes he is a lock, better offensively, just as good defensively.
Barkov is way better offensively and obviously isn't ending his career right now.I agree Barkov is getting in but he’s not a lock at this point in his career. Guy has more cups and Selkes and is a weak HOF entrant.
When the question is if you think he’s already a lock, I assume that means today and if he never played another gameBarkov is way better offensively and obviously isn't ending his career right now.
He is basically a lock, two selkes, 3 finals, 1 cup.
He is easily gonna hit 1k points and 400 goals if he keeps playing, with his other accolades, he is basically a lock.
in finland? He was fined over 100 000€ because of a crime Some years ago..
The crime was speeding
