But that’s not what you said. You said we never dog walked Carolina. In the playoffs that’s all we did.

I mean, enjoy the win now, but you know you didn’t beat the best so….
It is exactly what I said. By simply using the scroll function to re-read you'll see I wrote...

"Even a healthy FLA never dogwalked this Carolina team", which is a fact.

At which point you began blabbing about last year. If I had meant last year's Carolina team, I'd have written "...that Carolina team". What I did not write is what you've attributed to me,

Your inability to comprehend the use of the word "this" vs "that" to describe present vs past tense is not my problem, especially after being even clearer by pointing out that Carolina's roster..and therefore team...has changed since last year.

Stay in school.

Does the Panthers first cup mean less because you didn't have to beat the team that dog walked your team in the finals the year before?

This is the obvious flaw in his thinking, but I wouldn’t expect an acknowledgment of that.

Right now, Carolina is the champion and a better hockey team than Florida. Any suggestion to the contrary is counter-factual. If they want to change that, next season starts in about 4 months.

Well we’ve dog walked the Canes the last few years. A healthy FLA team would sweep you again.

Almost 6 hours later and no reply.

Lol healthy FLA couldn't even sweep last year's decidedly-unhealthy Canes that hadn't yet added KAM, Hall, Ehlers, or put together the best 4th line in hockey. Nikishin can even speak some English by now. We'll see about the future when they play the games (assuming FLA makes the playoffs).

Live in the now. Do your homework.

This is peak delusion. We’re going to pretend Florida didn’t have injuries too like Sam Reinhart getting his knee torched by Aho. Imagine bragging Florida could only do it in 5 instead of 4  They had Taylor Hall too. He was irrelevant. A year of injuries and people forgot how much of pitbulls Florida was. Guess this next season will be telling on both fronts for Florida. That being said Carolina improved for sure, but Florida is also a powerhouse when they’re on their game. They’re the two best teams in the east right now IMO.

You ever wonder why Florida fans run their mouth so much? It’s because of fans like you who have never seen a cup in your life who think you’re better because you live in a “hockey city” lmao.
I don’t think I’m better. Right now my team is equal to yours, a Stanley cup non winner.

Now let’s show some respect to the champions, what do you say?

Yeah, Reinhart's knee so "torched" he sat out 2 games, but you're right about Hall, I meant Bussi and he could certainly be relevant going forward as anyone can plainly see.

And wasn't bragging about 1-4, just using that to highlight hypocrisy of the peak-delusioner I responded-to that's using "health" as an excuse for FLA being playoff no-shows this year and fuels his fantastical assertions in addition to not understanding how tenses work.

FLA as well as TBL and VGK are recent powerhouses who all just coincidently ignored the Cap during the playoffs prior to this season. FLA wasn't cap compliant in its last 3 Finals appearances, including it's 2 wins vs the compliant Oilers after losing to non-compliant VGK. This raises the legitimate question as to whether FLA can be the same powerhouse vs its opponents when they must comply as well, and is one that yet to be answered.

It's Lance Armstrong-level delusion to believe that adding an extra, say, Brad Marchand for the playoffs doesn't give one an edge like oxygenated blood transfusions during the Tour de France. Well, no more games like that so we'll all see how it goes once FLA is healthy enough to show up.

The Panthers were ass for ages. I remember talking with some fans years back, they thought their team would never win anything.

Your management finally worked some magic and it led you to two Cups. Congrats! :sarcasm:

As for OP, this Eastern Conference was so good, it's not even funny. The West never had any chance.

If you want to lie and act confident about it, then your whole argument becomes void. Not only does it come across as uneducated, but it shows you’re just here to yap.

No Panthers fan is arguing this at all. The team has absolute garbage for most of its existence. Finally Panthers fans have a team to be proud of, but elitist hockey culture is mad because the sun shines down there. It’s absolute clown behavior. Of course Florida fans are running their mouth. For 2 decades people laughed and mocked them. You reap what you sow. Canes fans will also have a chip on their shoulder because while their team has been consistently most of the time better than us, they also get the same jokes told about them.

Not even close. Our core has 2 cups, your core was an embarrassment in the playoffs. Not really comparable. For 2 years you’ve been running your mouth. But hey if it makes you feel better that your core made it to round 3 when Florida clowned the league for 2 years then who am I to judge.

Sure pal, everyone knows what your drill was.
Doubling down on the lie is hilarious. If you wanted to just waste time, you could’ve said that. I’ll wait for the lack of cap compliance about 23 and 24. If you can’t provide any factual information I’ll just conclude you don’t have anything. Opinions are one thing, lying and bragging about it is just sad. You know the drill though as that’s who you are lmao

When you play garbage teams it is lol.
I'm honestly not sure what the point is in posting this nonsense. You must realize not a single person is going to join you in this distorted, imaginary version of reality. Maybe it feels cathartic to write it, however to the rest of us it comes off as bitter and/or jealous.
