They couldn't draw for an ECHL team, do they really think a lower level team would work?

Valid question but even with Iowa-based ownership, it seems they still didn't properly market their team. I guess running well-established USHL team doesn't give you all the insight you need to run an ECHL team in a completely new market.

Given committed ownership and competent staff, there's a possiblity it works.

Weber spent just one season as GM/HC in Coralville, under deteriorating circumstances. So maybe you should read about his previous accomplishments that presumably earned him a one-year stint in East Central Iowa.

Thanks. Seems like he enjoys a challenge. Both Seth Appert and Dave Smith are quality people - RPI is a tough place to win with the new college hockey landscape. And Trenton isn't the same place it was during the original Titans' days.
