So now Lagesson and Bouchard don’t even skate with the big boys?
Wasn’t McLeod eligible to skate today?

I really like him trying Kahun on the McDavid line. I think it could be a good fit as Kahun is good with those give and go plays. Archibald is much better suited on the 3rd line.
Keeping DRY together makes sense, the first game was always going to be rough. Give them more time to get used to each other again.

Pretty happy, and a bit concerned, that Khaira is getting practice reps. I'd like to them to be a little more cautious with him but if he's good to go, so be it.
Jones in for Russell? I'm legit shocked and like it because Jones has played well recently.

Uh.... Where's McLeod?

Edit: I see that @Soli answered.

It is depressing that the best thing we can conjure up to play LW with the best player on earth is Kahun. A guy like Chris Kunitz would do wonders there...

My speculation: Tippett was reluctant to reunite DRY because he wanted one offensively competent linemate for McDavid, and he figured that RNH was that guy. But Puljujarvi has played so well that Tippett now feels comfortable making him and McDavid a combo, rotating Kahun/Kassian/Archibald whoever on the LW, so RNH goes back with Draisaitl and Yamamoto.

Not saying I agree, just what I think his reasoning was.

Hope they are gonna give Khaira some time. Getting that messed up from a straight on hit...guy has had his brain scrambled 3 times already this season.
Yeah, seems a bit strange that Khaira is already back practicing considering Montreal shutting down Price for at least a week. I mean, unless Khaira wasn't concussed and was just winded or something, but who knows.

I am pretty sure the Oilers doctors and concussion specialist are better than the HF Oil Medical Team.

Tippet better not get into shafting Nygard again. He brings more to the table then Ennis or Neal.....unless he's injured.

It was why he didn't play last game.

Looks like some of you did "watched the hockey good" that Kharia was wobbly before the hit from Romanov

Nice he was on the ice, but probably not close to playing just yet.
