I just saw Necas and Martinook out there and thought Necas got demoted. Didn't consider RBA decided to go with 2nd line Martinook.

I had thought for a while that we needed another d but having seen Chatfield play I think we are ok there.

however, I now think we need a proven forward.

We don't seem to me to be as bad as many of you are saying, but it is a GDT. It looks pretty even hockey. I'd love to blow out every team but I don't think we have been bad. That said, it looks like we are going 90% tonight on average.

Exactly.
Martinook drains any offense out of the line he is on. Staal drains the offense out of his. KK line get 8 minutes a night.
So it's the SAT line that scores, or it's absolutely nothing.
But to be honest, I think Rod likes these sorts of games.

We really do have a problem going against bad teams on the road. We consistently lack the energy needed to win any road game in the NHL in those kind of matchups
