When McDavid leads a club to the Cup then he will be a great playoff performer.
For many years the narative was that he should learn how to play playoffs hockey, that his production drops in playoffs. 9 points in 13 games was terrible. That he focuses too much on scoring in regular season instead of saving his energy for playoffs.Who is saying he's not a playoff performer?
In the last 4 years he's had 60gp 40g 108pts for 1.8 pts/gp. The Oilers have gotten to the points they are because of him
I have literally never seen a person blame McJesus for Edmonton not winning cups. What does this have to do with anything ? Point is he’s putting up all time level performances, and anyone blaming him for the oilers not winning yet simply has an agenda

I’m with you but there is at least one certain unamed poster on here that says exactly that about McDavid. I prefer not to call out someone by name but I’m sure he’ll make an appearance in this thread at some point.Yikes. Not sure what else the man could do to help his team win games![]()

Yes until he wins he is behind Patrick MaroonExactly! Then (leading his club to a Cup) he will be. The playoffs and legacy of the greatest players is about Cups.
Do you think McDavid’s tearing a strip off his teammates after going down 0-3 to the Panthers last playoffs had anything to do with his collecting points or about winning the Cup?
Maroon has several Cups as do many average players. IMO McDavid is clearly in the tier with the all time greats. Maroon is several tiers below.Yes until he wins he is behind Patrick Maroon
I am sorry what? You can't win multiple Stanley Cups in a year.
lol thank youIn case anyone still thinks Curry isn’t a great shooter, know this
He has 108 points over 60 games in his past 4 postseasons.
But if the Oilers don’t win the Cup, it will solely be his fault according to some.

I wouldn't call wearing a jacket, purse and scarf combo my grandmother would kill to own, impeccable fashion sense...In case anyone still thinks Matthews doesn't have impeccable fashion sense, know this
Henri Richard is the greatest player of all time, and look at that Kevin Lowe, he punts Bobby Orr to the curb.Yes until he wins he is behind Patrick Maroon
Waiting for McDavid to win a cup in a Leafs jersey....Can't wait to watch him win one for the Leafs
You guys are still doing this? Can't wait to watch him win one for the Leafs
Mcdavid haters are now blaming bad goaltending on him…?How much of a say does he have in roster construction?
His agent is the boss...why not push for a real goalie?
So depending on how much stroke he has, he could be at fault on the management side as well.
or they are still living in 2017. Every single playoff hes' ever played in he was above a 1PPG pace, except for one year where he was at 1PPG exactly. The only people that say McDavid is not a good playoff performer are the same Oiler or McDavid haters that post the same type of nonsense in most of their posts.
Have you been living under a rock?I have literally never seen a person blame McJesus for Edmonton not winning cups.
It’s been the exact opposite actually.
