hopfully slovakia can make it way up to top group at world level also in the coming years.
 
can't believe the Slovak coach insists on playing Nela with players who can't get her the puck. Nela is just chasing the Swedes all over the ice.

When she gets the puck there are multiple players on her. If she tries to pass to a teammate, the play dies immediately. Hard to play 1 against 5 all the time.

Last year they weren’t collapsing as much in the defensive zone so they were actually giving up way more high danger chances. Plus they didn’t have the same amount of “finishers”.

Biggest difference is first and foremost skating, Swedes and the other top teams can skate way better then Slovaks. But again all it takes is 1 great goalie performance.

4-0 in 2nd dperiod shot 25-2 i thought finland would put up more of a fight after the tight game last year.
 
There's one girl from my home town on Team Finland. Tinja Tapani, cousin of Susanna. Born 2009. Also plays ringette like her big sister Teresa and cousin Susanna.
 
not much slovakian star can do when there is literally no one else on the team but 1 or 2 who can compete at this level to help her

I think the Czechs have a very good chance against Sweden. Slovakia against Finland not so much.

I think CZE, SWE and FIN are in the same tier quality wise. Slovakia is in a tier with SUI and I guess Germany.

Is it just me or are Sweden back? Felt like it was japan, Finland and the Swiss in those 3 to 5 slots. Now it feels like Slovaks, Czechs and Swedes are pushing in.
.it is getting much more competitive for bronze.
