11.5 is really making you guys shook, eh? Not going to blame Igor for getting what he think he's worth. Trouba was getting paid just 1 mil under Makar, lol.

It's really difficult to hold him accountable with the chances he's had to face. Not only do you ignore the experts calling the game, but you ignore common sense as well. The chances we give up are insane. Literally insane. Every goal in your eyes is a softy, but like I mentioned before, if we were scoring the same kind of goals you'd be head over heels with how great the play was.

Last year, we got by on our PP and this year the teams have watched the tape and the team in front of him are so far checked out that I don't think I've seen a team that's hung their goalie out to dry like the Rangers have.

In the end, Igor chose the money and where he wants to play. Management decided they didn't want a full rebuild (what's new) and will just keep running it back. Igor could've made more than what he's making now elsewhere, but decided to stay. Unfortunately for him, he's got a team so shit in front of him that he can't possibly fathom winning anything for this team.

11.5 doesn't guarantee you f***ing miracles. I guarantees you a shot at going deep in the playoffs, but you gotta' meet the goalie halfway there. This team can't f***ing score and they can't f***ing play defense. How many odd man rushes against does it take for you to realize that this kind of play is unsustainable for any team, let alone any goalie.

If a goalie cannot be held accountable because there's nothing he can do, that illustrates exactly why he shouldn't be signed to that contract.

The position cannot change games enough to warrant that contract.

I wouldn't pay him or any goalie 8.5 mill, let alone 11.5

Except this holds true for any single player at any position. One single player, regardless of who they are, could not put out this dumpster fire. Not that I'm saying I'm in Igor's corner. I could really go either way with him.

Hate him. Loath him actually. Should never build from the net out but this guy must literally taste his own shit from the toilet bowl to be so in love with himself that he actually thought he was WITHOUT CONTEST the absolute best goalie in the entire league. Take a hike.

Blame the media and fans. They hate the Rangers so much and need a way to rationalize our success the last three seasons so they built him up into that. We were seeing these posts here as recently as earlier this year. He sucks people in because his highs are sky high but his lows are as low as the grand canyon.

Are you serious? One guy is an almost 40 year old backup and the other guy signed for 11.5M a year. The defense letting them out to dry is a really tiring excuse. Another game he got chased. The guy is a sack of f***ing shit.

LOL. I agree it's tiring because it keeps f***ing happening over and over and over again. How many 2v1's, 2v0's, 1v0's do you want Igor to stand on his head to save? I don't remember one man winning a hockey game ever in the NHL, but because you're so dicked about what he think he's worth it's an excuse to shit on him when it's literally impossible to bail out this shit team against actual cup contenders. Plenty of players on this team that got paid and vanished in front of him, but after the end of these blowout games, you don't see anyone shitting up their threads. All the Rangers need to do is play a tick below average defense in front of a goalie that can get it done for them, but they can't. Period.

Igor busting out a near 50-shot onslaught win against a team like Dallas (which had how many f***ing breakaways?) should be the exception and not the rule, no matter how much a player gets paid.

We have some horrible shooters on this team that can't finish even if there's a gaping wide net, so when our team decides to actually score with the rare odd man rush that we have, we celebrate of course. Cheer. Make Tro the captain! What a great play! He did it!

When a team comprised of f***ing snipers like Tampa scores on odd man rush after odd man rush, it's always a stoppable shot that Igor should have because 11.5 makes him an alien that can phase through space and time to stop a shot that our team would kill to have the skill to do.

Yes you can. It's called not being a pu$$y.

This shit is called business.

Chris could have easily traded Igor for an A+ goalie prospect and a 1st, even more. Take someone to the shed. Instead we got another highly crippling contract.

We'll eventually pull of some nasty stuff, so that Igor might just bounce back to mother Russia.
Bad business and bitch ass moves. Great.

But hey, the cap is gonna rise, there is always that.

Yesterday he gave up 5 goals on 14 shots. Spare me the tears Mrs. Shesterkin.
