What would you do if you were Brad? What moves to be a cap compliant team ?
If I was Brad I’d be living it up on daddy’s money. What would you do if you were Brad? What moves to be a cap compliant team ?
At what price tho?Trade Murray, sign Samsanov, and kick my feet up cause I have about 50k left and no good trade targets.
Murry ended the year OFF of LTIR which doesn't help the Leafs case as he was dressed as the backup during the Florida series. So magically going back on isn't going to fly by the NHL and a medical report that cleared him last season baring a new injury.Honestly not sure how we get under cap right now. More has to happen. Murray to LTIR is a nice theory but you can’t assume that to be part of being compliant.
There’s the buyout Murray to save 4 million route, you assume settling with Sammy around 3, go 12-7-2 on the roster, you’re still short. And on the hook next season for four mil dead space.
Might be paying a steep price to move another bad goalie contract here, don’t like it.
At what price tho?
No, I mean to trade Murray. Gotta pay someone something to take it right?he has to come in around 3 which I actually think is around fair on a short-term deal. 2 years is ideal.
I would have made my moves before July 1st. It's all a moot point now, let's be frank and honest. What would you do if you were Brad? What moves to be a cap compliant team ?
I’d be down in Arizona… landscaping Auston’s house and cleaning his pool.
The inevitable Nylander trade.Honestly not sure how we get under cap right now. More has to happen.
The inevitable Nylander trade.
Oooooh you beat me to that answerIf I was Brad I’d be living it up on daddy’s money.
We will see if Ryan Reaves keeps others from going after Matthews and running our goalie. Simmonds didn't seem to help, but then again, maybe Simmonds would've been more effective if he wasn't on such a short leash.Trade Ryan Reaves, Matt Murray, and a first for anyone who will take all their salary for a future considerations.
