You are confusing "capitalism" with "corporatism."

The US is not capitalism, not even close. It is as far from capitalism as it is from socialism. The US does have elements of corporatism, which is the government selling power to mega-corporations. This is not capitalism, not even close.
Why would the wealthiest business interests of any capitalist society not use the money they have lying around to influence politics through donations, lobbyists, etc.?

Because in a capitalist society there is no government for them to lobby.

I hate the misconception that countries with mixed economies are capitalism.

Surprised Australia isn't getting more love. That is where I would love to live. I am a proud Canadian but I think I wouldn't be upset living in Melbourne or Sydney. Never been but it looks fantastic on TV and pictures.

I've got the answer.

According to statists somalia is an example of anarcho-capitalism, so somalia is the answer.

(except that Somalia is multiple governments fighting for power)

Worked with a couple of Australians at a previous gig. Great guys, modern day Vikings. They are hard drinkers, show up every day hungover, and take our women -- that accent.

I wonder if it works in reverse. I wouldn't mind working in Sydney or Brisbane.

Can you please stop parroting rehearsed one-liners you saw in memes on your FREE LIBERTARIANS FOR FREE LIBERTY FREEDOM Facebook group and go do some cursory research on what you're talking about?

Even Ludwig Von Mises acknowledged that the mere existence of a state and of nationalized enterprises doesn't somehow alter the basic productive relations of a market economy. Nevermind venturing to the other side of the aisle, you could start by taking the time to read the work of those whose ideas you're attempting to represent.
