I'm baffled that there's even a single Oilers fan that isn't saying Kuemper from LA. I know he didn't have a great series. But he's up for the Vezina right now. And the Oilers only hole on the roster is a goalie. And it's a big missing piece.

I don't gamble. But if the Oilers had Kuemper on the roster right now, I'd be putting money on them to win the Cup.

My feeling is that Canes D is good enough to win. Having Pesce back would be great but adding Hischier down the middle so you could run forward lines of this would be deadly

Also I don't trust Markstrom at all to be a goalie that is good enough to win it all. He doesn't have much of a playoff track record of success to fall back on plus he's a total head case.

Take Markstrom. When we exit I know I will be blaming Andersen and/or Kochetkov both whom love to give up soft goals. Andersen has been good so far but I'm not disillusioned enough to believe anything other than our goal tenders are least clutch of about any team left in the second Rd . If we don't make the Finals, I'd bet the farm it will be off soft goals.
