As yourself. You brought up the 18 game scoring streak
to show how consistent he's been, among many other accolades this season
…the other poster just provided the numbers for those games in comparison.

Draisaitl had a PPG of 1.51 before the streak and over his scoring streak he has a PPG of 1.5. He is actually scoring at a sligthly lower pace by the numbers.
cool I guess
Avs also scored 65 goals during that 18-game span as opposed to the Oilers 53
Draisaitl in on 52% of all Oiler goals during his streak
Mackinnon in on 43% of all Avs goal in their past 18 games

makes it even more impressive for Drai

2 after McDavid is an extremely close call, I don't blame anybody for taking any of the players here.

He’s been very firmly part of that group over the past seven seasons, regardless of if he wins any hardware this season, though he very well could sweep the four awards and it would go a long way towards his overall ranking all-time and the perception of this era when we reflect on it in the future.

Could win his second Hart, Lindsay, and Art Ross. That brings him uncomfortably close to the Big Three of the previous era and keeps him in line with Kucherov and ahead of MacKinnon.

Crosby won two Harts and three Lindsays.

Ovechkin won three and three.

Malkin won one Hart and one Lindsay.

Crosby and Malkin won two Art Rosses each. Ovechkin won one.

He’s about to hit 50 goals for the fourth time in his career. The 11 players who have more all-time are comprised of most of the greatest goal scorers and players of all-time.

Only 6 players all-time have more 100 point seasons than the sixth he just reached. It’s as many as Crosby has, just one less than Ovechkin and Malkin combined, and assuming Kucherov gets 5 more points this season, just two less than Kucherov and MacKinnon combined.

He’s sitting behind only Gretzky, Lemieux, and McDavid in playoffs PPG all-time.

He will be among the quickest to 1000 career points all-time.

The only player since Gretzky to rank top 4 in both goals and points in 5 consecutive seasons.

He’s been there and he’s only adding to it.

Draisaitl is on an 18 game scoring streak, the longest this season
he's recorded his 6th 100 point season, only Crosby and McDavid have had as many
he's 1 goal away from his 4th 50G-50A season, the only active player in the NHL to do this 4 times

I'd say he's right there
I’d say he’s the most dangerous hockey player in the world right now

When I hear best player in the world in hockey, it really means nothing. You look at the greats who have won cups, and they were on teams with a good roster, goaltending and coaching. Lemieux and Gretzky only won cups on dynasties. Kucherov and mackinnon won cups on really stacked cap era teams. You still need a good overall hockey team to support said superstar, or you ain’t winning jack!

He was injured badly towards the end of the second round of last year's playoffs. He had broken ribs and a broken hand, which severely impacted his play in the final two rounds. In 2023 against Vegas, Pietrangelo slashed him on the arm, and he went pointless for the last two games of the series, obviously due to injury. Draisaitl's production problems in the playoffs have all been injury-related.
This is widely well known but for some reason posters who know better still bring his playoff "dropoff up"m maybe hoping people will forget or something.

Kucherov is the worst of the big 4 forwards. Considering Makar as well and he’s out of the top 5. If Helly doesn’t deflate in the playoffs I’d consider him above Kucherov as well.
