If Canada wins on Sunday, do you think Carey Price deserves the MVP?

Carey Price has been absolutely amazing thus far. He has come up huge in tight games and is the reason why we are playing for gold.

All the doubters of Price have been shown to be wrong about him thus far. if Canada wins gold I think Price Deserves MVP honors.

Canada's biggest strength has been their D and their best defenseman has been Doughty. Price has been good but Luongo would do just as well behind that D.

That's up for debate. Price made some pretty great saves today and there is no way to say Lou would have pulled off the same result for Canada. The US did put up 14 quality scoring chances according to the in game stats.

I to think Karlsson, but take nothing away from Carey Price.
 
Price's total shots faced in each game: 31, 16, 20, 15 or an average of 20.5 shots against.

Im not seeing an MVP. Its not like he's faced 35+ shots a game to get Canada into the Gold Medal game.

1 good game and 3 easy games.

If you are asking me, I didn't say there is no way. There is 'no way to know' because obviously you can only play the game once. I will take the result Carey gave the team, but I wouldn't want to see a do-over with Lou in there. Let's just say Lou couldn't do any better.
 
No. He has been good but he isn't the MVP. Doughty or Weber should win it.
 
Yeah, I think it's gotta be Price. His performance today was outstanding, and he has been a rock the rest of the team can rely on. If Luongo was in net, this tournament would have been a different story for Canada.

Gotta agree with this. He's been solid, but he hasn't had to put in a ton of work since the D in front of hi has been just incredible.

Karlsson is probably going to take MVP. He's been counted on to do a ton of heavy lifting, and he's been doing it well.

Playing less that Jonny odouya.

he's good, of that there is no doubt but doughty is one goal behind him, on a team whose forwards can't score and we don't staple doughty to the bench when things get tight.
 
For me it'd be Drew Doughty as MVP with Carey Price and Shea Weber as runner-ups for Team Canada.

If Sweden wins it's gotta be Erik Karlsson or Henrik Lundqvist.

These players should only win MVP if their team wins IMO.

I think the winner should be......... probably....... maybe Doughty. Has to be one of the d-men cant go wrong with Weber either
