Loui Ericksson is a good hockey player and Hamilton may still be a number 2 dman. Franson will want huge money we can't afford and Phanueff(who really knows). Philly wanted Schenn and overpaid,true.The team Burke built will implode in one year,if we don't win a cup,who cares?

Like I said, only Toronto Sun readers seem to think otherwise.

Principal pieces are Kessel and Eriksson....two top line players who play a stylistically different game.

Is Kessel better than Eriksson overall? Maybe...

Even if he is....is that marginal difference worth Hamilton, Knight, Morrow, etc.

And are you completely ignoring all the run-off, opportunity costs Toronto incurred along the way?
