-They're 9th in wins at 41
-They're 9th in goal differential
-9th in regulation wins
-They have one player in the top 44 via individual pts
-9th in goals for, 8th in goals against
-8th ranked PP, 6th ranked PK

Los Angeles as well, 36 wins, 33 losses, but 11 in OT, whilst sitting 3rd in the pacific division

Do I think they're as good as their points in the standings? No. But that's not the standings' job. It's to determine who makes the playoffs and the rules are the same for everyone.

They have the least amount of regulation losses. Teams haven't been able to beat them a lot in a 60 minute hockey game. It's not like that's a bad thing. Takes a lot of effort and a good team game to do that.

Alternatively you could look at it that they are the number #1 ranked team in losses in regulation, after 60 minutes of play no other team has more often won or still have a chance of winning the ot/shoot out luck competition.

i'd say if anything those win/loss numbers support the opposite of the point you're trying to make

the Bruins have the highest regulation winning percentage in the league

And think about it a bit…. If we went back to the tie format they’d actually be in a better position because they’d have given away 15 less points to the rest of the league.
