Based on what I have seen at camp and in preseason I would run these lines.

Neighbours - Thomas - Bolduc
Holloway - Buchnevich - Kyrou
Saad - Schenn - Texier
Toropchenko - Faksa - Joseph

Walker, Kapanen, Sundqvist

Leddy - Parayko
Broberg - Faulk
Joseph/Suter- Kessel

I really like Bolduc at RW, he can one time pucks off the rush which isn't easy to do and you're opening up his shot as more of weapon in general. Putting him with Rob Thom is just.......so comforting. Please hockey gods and Drew Bannister, make it so.

They will be sending Bolduc down so we could see Holloway on the top line for a significant amount of time

With the sudden development of Bolduc potentially getting sent down, I will try these again lol.

Saad/Holloway-Thomas-Neighbours
Holloway/Saad-Buchnevich-Kyrou
Texier-Schenn-Joseph
Toropchenko-Faksa-xxx

xxx = rotation of Walker, Sunny, Kapanen

Leddy-Parayko
Broberg-Faulk
Suter-Kessel

I like the idea of Holloway with Thomas and Neighbours, and am excited to see them together tonight, but I also think he’d be a good fit with Buch/Kyrou. His faceoff ability with Buch would also be a plus.

Saad has always performed well with Thomas, but he was also successful with Buch/Kyrou at the end of last year. I think he’s a lock to be back in the top 6 when he returns from paternity leave.

I don’t think you could go wrong with either option.

This really highlights how bad not having Kyrou would be. Walker in the top 6, yikes. I like Walker, but he should be on the 4th line and only see 3rd line action if we're injured. He's a clear weak link on that 2nd line. If Kyrou were out of the lineup, I'd move Texier to where Walker is, move Faksa up and put Schenn on the wing, that way you have Kap-Sunny-Walker as the 4th line.

Looking at these lineups I’d say it’s a good enough transition year roster but the future would be setup really nicely if Dvorsky and Lindstein hit…Left D and 2C are glaring long-term needs.

I think Bolduc is in the Line up much much sooner than the trade deadline ... possibly during this first road trip. They probably flew him out there for a reason is my thought.

I think it depends on how this current lineup looks on the road trip. I’m sure he’ll get a game if we need to switch it up. If not, he’s definitely the first injury call up.

Bolduc was "recalled from Springfield" this morning according to the Blues website.
