In retrospect, I should of put some kind of smiley with that. The comment wasn't meant to be ignorant, although in reading it again it seems exceedingly snobish.
 
I was wondering something.

If you were to go teach English in China or Japan for several years and become a Citizen, would you be able to play for the National team?

I mean how hard could it be!!!?

And I'm surprised there isn't any hype on Alengard, 9 goals and 6 assists, he's clearly better than Kessel and Toews.

What the -- ?

This I want to see. I've seen a goal scored in one second right off a faceoff a couple of times, but never from centre ice.

This is Gunnar Stahl we're talking about. The best Europe has to offer.

For the faceoff he did a charging slapshot.

He actually pulled it off twice during that period.

I actually agree with that statement.
 
From what I've heard, he's a 3rd liner at the NHL level AT-BEST.

Although Charlie Conway is getting a lot of "sleeper" love in the mock-drafts I've seen. Some mocks have him going to Boston in the 2nd round *salivates*.
 
I'm eligible to play for Armenia....they should have invited me to play.... heck...I'd take my cuzins and friends and we would probably do better.

I wonder if theres an Icelandic version of HFboards where everyone is pissing and moaning about how "oh you take away those 9 goals against Armenia and he didn't really have an impressive tourney" a la some here about bourque/kessel
