OT: Ice District construction: updates

Yes they've already gone down (I work next to the area), I think they're starting the tower already.

Also, just down the road they're doing full bore work on the new LRT line and station.

I didn't notice, but the rezoning signs also went further west towards the Shaw Conference Center. That would match the drawing on the bylaw amendment (page 18). So 101st Avenue will be gone, between Jasper and 96th Street.

Not gonna lie, my one concern with the area the whole time has been those new buildings blocking out the sunshine. Obviously angles and time of day have a lot to do with it, but unfortunately it looks like it will not be sunny in THE ice district.

Welcome to ICE: Where Your Risk of Skin Cancer is Cut in Half!

This may be a bit off the thread topic but I drove on the new bridge today!

Damn thing already has a bump in it.

sorry to bump this thread, but not sure where to post.
My wife is going to a concert tomorrow at Rogers.
Could someone provide their suggestion as what parkade she could use that's within say 4 or 5 blocks of the arena that likely wouldn't be full? I know the concert won't have near as many people as a hockey game does, so hopefully that helps.

your advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hopefully. They said they would let me know in 2 weeks if I make the next round. Fingers crossed.

I got the call on Friday. I made it to round 2 which is a basically a case they are asking me to analyze. If I pass that then round 3 is an in person interview in Edmonton.
