There is a 0.0% chance Panarin, Zib, Kreider and Fox will play Trotz hockey. They already got Quinn fired and he let them run the show.

Hire him for the gong show and subsequent team quitting in 20 games. Miller would probably look better?

If Quinn couldn't get a young presumably coachable team to play N/S hockey despite publicly and privately begging for it for years I don't know what possesses people to think any coach will be listened to..the top players on 8 year contracts, that's security, baby.

I know what the issues are with the team, I was harping on it from the start of the year. I am commenting that when msg own staff is starting to be this hard there is no hiding it anymore...

If there was a mid-season coaching change it would probably be promoting Kris Knoblouch to NHL head coach. KK was massively succesful in OHL and WHL. Hartford teams have been mixed but the roster is very much depleted so hardly his fault. It makes sense because it wouldn't be an entire systems change.

I wrote in the GDT the biggest fish would be Andrew Brunette, he lead the Panthers to Presidents' trophy and now works as Associate Coach @ NJD. I doubt we get permission to talk to him though. Wish we got him this summer
