If it weren't such an important game, I wouldn't have been unhappy. We looked pretty much the equal of Pittsburgh. The star of the game was their goalie. We're going to win our share of games soon.

I thought Tangradi - Jokinen - Wellwood looked pretty good, for a third line.
Why can't we score? Do we have the lowest shooting percentage in the league yet?
I'm afraid we have a long road ahead of us still before we become a good team. The talent is there but it just doesn't seem to fit together or something.

I don't think this one can be blamed on Pavs. TBH I only saw a bit of the 3rd period, but all I saw were the Jets testing out the boards behind Fleury.

Exactly - I don't think we have to worry about making the playoffs at the trade deadline...so he should be available.
BTW: Jets record with Clitsome: 5-5-1. Without: 0-2-0.

I was at the game and a few observations, probably mostly repeated:
- Brutal call on Redmond. If they're going to make calls like that, at least be consistent. The Pens were interfering a lot more on dump ins.
- These guys need shooter tutors very badly
- We need to counter speed through the neutral zone when trapping. Having 5 guys standing is not a good idea. They need to react faster, or have speed already built up.
- Antropov needs to go. He is slower this year, and it really shows.
- Bogosian is a beast.
