Step 1: Decide what the message is going to be. Sounds like consensus is forming around "Buffalo Sabers Suck!"
Step 2: Record the 1-20 order of each person, and set it in stone. If anyone moves, we have to fix it. I suggest we get everyone up over 1500 for safety/longevity, and then arbitrarily pick a moment to set the order.
Step 3: Go find letter avatars for each person. We can get started on this if anyone here knows how to make custom avatars. I know there are quite a few folks here on HF who are good at it... we could covertly ask someone to help if necessary.
Step 4: Pick a date and time to make the change en masse. Otherwise it will come off like a weird game of Wheel of Fortune. What are we thinking here? Maybe lunchtime EST Wednesday?
Step 5: Post gloating thread on the main board and revel in our glory.

Yeah, I don't think it's going to be a problem to get the avatar changes done.

The real work is in actually getting the avatars ready to roll, and making sure everyone's prepared to change over at the right time.
