Sebastian Aho 0.925M - Matt Duchene 6M - Nikita Kucherov 4.77M
Teuvo Teräväinen 2.86M - Jordan Staal 6M - Elias Lindholm 4M
Valentin Zykov 3.5M - Martin Necas 0.925M - Justin Williams 4.5M
Lucas Wallmark ~0.7M - Nicolas Roy 0.72M- Brock McGinn 0.89M

Jaccob Slavin 5.3M - Brett Pesce 4.025M
Noah Hanifin 5M - Justin Faulk 4.833M
Haydn Fleury 0.863M- Roland McKeown 0.745M

Braden Holtby 6.1M
Scott Darling 4.15M

This is how my roster looks now. Cap is 80M and I have 12,7M cap space.

I got some offers on Lindholm in which I could get rid of Darling which would naturally help a lot going further.

How do you guys value Lindholm? I used to like the guy a lot but to me who watches max 5 Hurricanes games per season he doesn't seem to be progressing like I hoped. Are my viewings just limited, will he be 50-60 point two way guy in that kind of roster?

@UncleRisto is going to see my messages now that he came back to lurk here

PS. Zykovs contract is 3.5 x 3. I got offer sheeted with that and decided to match.

Looks like a fun roster. But if you want it to last more than a year, you need to start clearing some cap. Aho, TT, Kucherov...none will be cheap to keep. In this scenario where you have all of these guys, Lindy is a luxury you don't need so I'd definitely move him if that means you can get rid of Darling as well.

Thanks for the input. Your thoughts are pretty similar to mine but I don't feel that moving Darling is an absolut necessity but just something that should be done to make the future look better. I would like to make Aho - Staal - TT second, two way line and X - Duchene - Kucherov first line to spread the wealth. Zykov isn't ready for top six role to start the season so in that scenario I could look at UFA LW. In this case moving Darling helps.

I don't actually have to move Darling. I've calculated that if the cap is 82M for 19-20 season, I can fit Aho with 7.5M, Kucherov with 10.5M, TT with 5.5M and Duchene with 7M contracts even with Darling. I don't like that fact that Zykov costs currently 2M more than he should per season

I got one ok level offer for Darling + Lindholm combo which I won't put here yet, but I'll try to work to make it better for the future of Canes.

Hard to get excited about this kind of make-believe, when in the real world it's much more unglorious and starts by the task of having to fit your team management under 700k until you can even think of any flashy player movements.

I completely demolished the Flyers' cap structure as well.
