That's the other part of it - just because they monitor and log everything doesn't mean they catch everything.

Most of the time, they have software set up to catch certain words, websites, etc...because having someone actually look through every log would be too costly and time consuming. A job search wouldn't trigger any of those so it would never hit their radar.
