Plus, I just want you guys to pay some attention to me right now.

Just for the record -- we are NOT insulting Sabres fans in any way. That would be trolling. We are insulting their hockey team, exclusively, which is our wont as fans of a rival hockey team.

I’m pretty sure that was the season that broke me as a fan.

For me it was losing the last game of the season to Tampa in 10-11.

If they win, they clinch the eight seed. Lose and you're out.

And they proceeded to get smashed by Tampa. Eric Staal had one assist and was -4. Ward rocked a sterling 0.879 save percentage.

That was the point where I stopped having (positive) expectations for this team.
