I think I’ve just read too many posts disparaging Conor Bedard and I want to go on record as saying I think he is going to be the best player in the league for at least a few years, probably. Not definitely, but his hockey IQ is just crazy good and he will do everything he can to make himself the best he can be.

Also I’m extremely happy to have turbo back in the fold here in Chicago I was nearly heartbroken when he was a cap casualty. There must have been some other way. I was not ragging on him. I think those two are going to have a hell of a year together if everything goes even remotely well.

If I saw you pumping his tires as the next one, I might suggest easing up on those expectations because that is extremely difficult to achieve, as some really incredible players haven't been able to meet those expectations... then I might joke that his cousin will become best player in the league before him, because I am a sarcastic prick afterall.

More defending and better goalkeepers and Brandsegg-Nygård get into the squad and get to play games needed.

Nucks need to trust their shooting instead of relying on perfect plays. Watching a team like the Rangers, guys like Zibanejad and Panarin are just letting it rip from wherever they want. If Pettersson and Boeser just trusted their shots more, they'd score more. And yes, I say this in spite of the fact that they're already the best goal scorers on the team.

Also Silovs is a trooper and I love the guy but he needs more AHL time. We might not make the playoffs if he is our starter.

Coach is...okay, like your local foodstuff merchant is ok. Not a lot of hockey IQ there from what I see post-practice statements. Feel the owner went cheap here and got a media-friendly dude (always a mistake, media are irrelevant and will tow the party line).

We're good enough to make the playoffs though, given that Tampa Bay and Boston are vulnerable.
