I hate the holiday break

I am happy for the players, whom are also human beings like us, have a few days off to spend with their families and loved ones making the same memories as the rest of us.

I suspect the fathers enjoy (cherish is a better word) spending Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with their wives and/or kids. Those are special moments, esp for the kids. And you want to take that away?

This break was one of the most humane things the owners gave to the players.

To be honest I would be o.k. if they'd give them a whole week off. From 24th December to 2nd January for example. Regular season starts on 4th Oktober and ends on 17th April. In that time span, they have to play 82 games. I think a whole week off around christmas wouldn't hurt nobody and would be huge for the players and their families & friends.

Enjoy time with your family the 3 months off unlike me who only gets the 1 day I get on Xmas when I can't enjoy it watching the sport we all love like we'd want to
Still better than Americans Thanksgiving where it's coupled with a slieu of games during business hours for fans of the teams involved.
