i absolutely f***ing hate this. Buffalo gifted us a win the other night doing it too.
It worked really well in 2014 and then normalized to showing very little advantage at all.

You know how coaches are. If it worked ten years ago for like ten seconds, that's a wrap.

He’s not going to be worth it dude.

He’s regressed so hard the past 2 years.
Everyone has regressed this year, not one single guy outside of Cuylle has looked better this year. It's not him, it's THEM. I wanna see someone else behind the bench and a proper system this team can deploy.

They know how to pass around the perimeter
The Rangers spent two minutes looking for the perfect shot. Berard and Cuylle got them back in the game. They were benched for the 6 on 5. Zibanejad had barely played in the 3rd and Laviolette reunited all of the slackers to pass the puck around on the perimeter. Even Sam and Joe questioned those moves.

I don’t think another coach is the answer. Rangers’ top stars are all on the wrong side of 30.

They road a very hot pp unit and goaltending to the top of the standings last year. Now that those parts of the team have cooled off, they have no answers.

They were never good enough to win by playing simple hockey. They need the fancy crisp passes and perfect deflections to win. Those aren’t there anymore.

This is a team that has given up because they have no answers. Because they are a flawed roster.

Miller is one of those flaws. He’s a 3rd pairing guy at best.

If Kreider isn't hurt he should retire
The GM made it clear he doesn’t want him.

Remember game 6 against Carolina? We were literally in the GDT begging for a leader to step up.
He put the team on his back. He has been a great playoff performer.

What was our locker room leadership as a president’s trophy winner?

Now maybe for you it sucked. Maybe all those players do and maybe we need rid of them, but once you get rid of two and go public that you want rid of the other well… it’s not going to make him more inclined to lead the team.

He has quit. Unacceptable, but all but the young kids seem to have quit.
